Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 5, 2025

This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use getecommerceleads.com, our reports, and related pages (together, the “Site”). If you subscribe, we also process limited account/billing details via Stripe’s billing.stripe.com portal.

1. Information We Collect

You provide: name, email, company, payment-related info (entered directly in Stripe’s portal), and any messages you send us.

Automatic Site data (analytics): page URL, referrer, browser/OS/device type, country/city, and similar high-level metrics. We use Plausible Analytics which is cookieless and stores only aggregated, non-identifiable stats.

Visitor identification (US traffic only): when enabled, we run Instantly “Website Visitor ID” for visitors we infer to be in the United States. Instantly collects usage/device data and may enrich with business identifiers (e.g., work email, role) from third-party sources for sales outreach. This feature is not loaded for visitors in the EEA/UK/CH or Canada.

2. Purpose of Data Collection

Provide and improve the Site, security/diagnostics, and usage analytics (Plausible).

Sales and marketing to companies that visit the Site (Instantly, US only).

Account/billing and support (Stripe portal, email).

3. Legal bases (EEA/UK/CH)

Legitimate interests: cookieless analytics via Plausible.

Contract: subscriptions and support.

Consent (if ever applicable): we would rely on consent for any visitor-identification/marketing trackers in the EEA/UK/CH. (Our configuration blocks Instantly there.)

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Plausible: no cookies, no persistent identifiers. No banner required for analytics alone.

Instantly (US only): may use cookies or similar tech to identify/business-profile your visit for outreach. We show a US-only banner and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signals. Manage choices at [Cookie Preferences].

Stripe: we use Stripe’s billing.stripe.com portal to process payments. Stripe handles all billing and payment processing. We do not store your payment information on our servers.

5. “Sale”/“Share” and targeted ads (US state laws)

Using Instantly to identify and outreach to US visitors may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the CPRA. If these laws apply to us, you can opt out any time via diogo@getecommerceleads.com and we honor GPC / universal opt-out signals (e.g., Colorado).

6. Who we share info with (service providers)

Analytics: Plausible Analytics (EU-hosted).

Visitor ID (US only): Instantly.ai.

Billing: Stripe Customer Portal (you interact directly with Stripe for payment details).

Scheduling: Cal.com (only if you book a call).

Demo data: Airtable (viewing reports).

Digital Ocean (hosting).

Postmark (email marketing).

7. International transfers

Plausible processes analytics in the EU. Instantly and Stripe may transfer data to the US; they use recognized transfer mechanisms (e.g., SCCs / Data Privacy Framework as applicable).

8. Retention

Analytics (Plausible): aggregated metrics; we keep only what we need for trend reporting.

Sales/marketing records (Instantly, US only): kept while relevant to outreach and compliance or until you opt out.

Billing/records: kept as required for tax/accounting.

We delete or anonymize data when no longer needed.

9. Your Rights

EEA/UK/CH: access, rectify, erase, restrict/oppose processing, and withdraw consent.

US (where applicable): know/access, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/share/targeted advertising; we honor GPC signals.

California DOJ: coag.gov

Canada: contact us for access/correction; we do not run Instantly in Canada.

Submit requests to diogo@getecommerceleads.com. If we can’t verify you, we’ll ask for limited additional info solely for verification.

11. Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to risk. Payment information is handled directly by Stripe in their hosted portal.

12. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16 (or 13 in the US). We don’t knowingly collect such data.

13. Changes

We’ll update this page and revise the “Effective date” when we change this Policy. Material changes may also be notified by email.

14. How to exercise choices

Cookie/Tracking choices: [Cookie Preferences] (US banner; GPC respected).

Do not sell/share (US): [Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information].
